PWT executives have extensive knowledge and experience working in the China market. Although PWT commenced operations in 1986, its co-founder Dennis Kelley, began working in China in 1978, just as the doors to the west were opening. PWT has witnessed vast changes in the China market since 1978 and is well positioned to conduct business in today's changing and complex environment.

PWT established its Beijing office in 1986 and became one of the first USA companies to pursue automotive and industrial components supply from Chinese sources. PWT became the first tenant in the China World Trade Center which opened in late 1989 and we have maintained this office for 15 years.

In 1987 PWT was hired by the Indiana Department of Commerce to represent the Indiana government in China for economic development activities. This relationship continues today and is highlighted by the Indiana-Zhejiang sister/province relationship. Our mission is to promote Chinese investment to Indiana and to assist Indiana companies with the export of Indiana-made products to China.

Our primary business in China is product sourcing for import and distribution to the USA. Our strengths are in the automotive and industrial component sectors with manufacturing capabilities in the following areas:

Ductile iron castings
Gray iron castings
Investment and sand castings with heat treat capability
Precision machined parts with EDM capability
Aluminum extrusions, stampings and die castings
Cast steel and stainless steel components
Metal stampings

Ensuring high quality in our products is a first priority. PWT has a team of highly skilled QC engineers that provides on-site inspection of finished product before shipment. PWT has full logistics support in China and provides warehousing and JIT services in the USA for its customers.

In addition to QC inspections of PWT's product, we also offer final inspection services to USA companies that have their own suppliers in China but lack the capability for on-site inspections. This service can provide significant cost savings to importers because out of spec product is rejected at the factory, prior to shipment from China.

On a selective basis, PWT can provide China business consulting services to clients in areas of market research, distributor search, strategic planning and logistics support.
